Seth assumed her meeting was something related to the Ministry and didn't give it another thought. There were more important things to think about anyway. He reached out and gently brushed his fingers over her cheek.
"I don't mind. I should probably tell mine too. Mum would kill me if her baby boy got married without her there. I'll probably go and see them tomorrow night while you're at your meeting... Or we could go tonight and see both of our parents. They'd probably like to meet the man you're marrying at least a day or two before the wedding, I imagine."
He kissed her back and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "I know a lot of people will think that, but who cares what they think? First of all, it's none of their business what we do with our personal lives, and secondly, I think we've all just seen how short life can be, and I don't want to waste a single second of it, so they can think what they like. As long as we're happy, that's all that matters."
He pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Why don't you go and take a nap, sweetheart?"
