Cho had been short with people for most of the day. She'd gone to Terry's with everyone else, but she gave one or two word answers, sitting in the corner, staring at her journal. This was the only way she knew how to deal with grief. The sadness reminded her too much of how she felt with Cedric, and as soon as Seth said he was coming over, Cho made her excuses and headed home. She didn't make an effort in prettying herself up, just lay on her sofa, her head propped up on the arm, and cried, even though her eyes hurt. At the knock on the door, she rubbed her eyes, and straightened herself up a little before opening the door.
"Hey, you." She forced out, pushing a tiny smile onto her face which didn't last long before it fell, along with some more tears. She wrapped her arms around his neck, taking a deep breath to control herself. "How's...How's Penny doing now? Any change?" She pulled away and hugged herself, closing the door once Seth was inside. "I can make you a coffee? Or...I don't know, something." Her chest tightened as she held back a sob, and shook her head at herself, wishing she could pull herself together.
