Who: Seamus Finnigan and Megan Jones
What: Bikram Yoga
Where: Some Muggle Yoga Place.
When: Wednesday Evening
Rating: Seamus has brief thoughts about sex in general. Swearing. And... Well nothing too dramatic.
Seamus’ mum was the one that had suggested the idea. And - sure, maybe a few months ago, Seamus would have told her flat out ‘No.’ There was no way in hell, he was going to be caught dead in a pair of sweat resistant tights, trying to get his body into a lotus position. A - because, hell yeah he was going to give a line of alphabetical letters followed by a barrack for emphasis, to prove his point - A) Yoga made absolutely not sense whatsoever and Seamus had been refusing to learn a second language for years, he wasn’t going to be tricked into learning it through yoga. B) Yoga was just plain girly. Guys that did it were gay. Simple. C) Well there was no C - But, the point was Yoga was lame and very girly, and the only reason why Seamus was doing it now was because, A) He had just been through a traumatic time in his life, and his mother was his life line. If she suggested yoga to him: it was yoga for the betterment of his health, not yoga, because she’d always wanted a daughter and had always shoved (not so subtle) hints his way; like about joining ballet or ballroom dancing. B) he had read in an article: that yoga improved your sex life (and now that Seamus had a girlfriend, the possibility he might just have sex again was improving) and the fact it helped out with your health and your general fitness was just blah, because he had boxing classes and quidditch for that. And C) - okay there still wasn’t no C. But, Seamus had made his point. Oh and there was that whole thing about his mom mentioning something about a tough form of yoga, that was performed basically in a sauna environment - which sounded very hard and manly and it was enough for Seamus to send a letter off to Megan about joining him for a session.
Seamus apparated to the spot, once he had grabbed some basketball shorts and singlet to wear (because he was no way, wearing those tights). He saw Megan waiting for him just beside the entrance. He could already see people walking past her and heading upstairs. Seamus knew the new trendy yoga was popular, but he had really hoped it wouldn’t be that packed. He walked over and stopped a few feet in front of Megan and offered a wave. “Good to see you. Glad you could come.” All true statements too. “I think we better head on upstairs, I really hope it isn’t too crowded.” It was though, liked packed to the brim and Seamus could already feel the change in temperature. It really did feel like a sauna. Everyone was waving; like they were ecstatic to see Seamus and Megan had joined their class, and Seamus wasn’t exactly sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Seamus was willing to bet his wand on it, that they all biked here too. Something about crazy muggle exercise nuts, even when they talked together, they were walking in pace with one another. Seamus turned to Megan, “Let’s go set up over there.” He took one of the exercise mats being handed out and went to set up with Megan in the corner of the room.
