"You mean those cards couldn't tell you that you were stuck with me forever?" Hermione resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the mention of the tarot again, though her sentiments were sincere.
As Ron offered to take her flying, she shook her head. "No, thank you," she answered quickly. She would just wait until they had another plan that took place on the ground. Or make one of her own, whichever came first.
"More training is definitely a good idea. Those groups would work in general, yes, though we should still take certain people if they wanted help with something in particular. Or those that just need extra practice when it comes to the basics or are new to the D.A altogether." They really needed to be more prepared. "Perhaps we should ask for location suggestions from the other members."
It wasn't something that she had voiced aloud, or even decided upon. But Hermione had been thinking about approaching the Ministry with the idea of her map and the uses it would have for the DMLE in particular. So it was odd to have Ron almost say the same thing. Skipping over that for now, she moved onto the current Minister.
"At least it's still Kingsley in charge," she mentioned. "Even if he's having a hard time of it right now, we know we can trust him to do the right thing."
As he then spoke of getting to know Lia better, Hermione gave Ron a look that suggested he had gone somewhere past mental. "Sure. Why don't we try and make Trelawney the new Headmistress of Hogwarts while we're at it?"
