She couldn't be serious. Perhaps she wasn't. Surely people had doled out better compliments than that. And Kevin hadn't even meant it as a compliment. It was simply the truth.
"You're right. Perhaps I am stuck." Kevin glanced up again, watching more people shove their way into the flat. "But maybe tonight's not the night to worry about it. I should take you advice and have a little fun." Kevin took one last drink to finish the bottle. "Maybe I'll even give your dancing thing a go. What do I have to lose? I'm fairly sure every else at this party is too far gone to notice."
