According to a lot of people (only not really; because Megan was the only one annoying to point it out), it was rude that Justin hadn’t invited Sally in yet. And he wasn’t like he was an idiot, or completely oblivious to what it was like to be a good host (not that he was hosting this disaster anyway), but really, he didn’t think it was that huge of deal for her to wait outside for the duration of the party. Okay, sarcasm was evident there, but still, Justin really just wanted Sally to apologize, then all would be good. Or something like that, he still wouldn’t be very fond of her.
Justin, stepped aside. “I need to get a drink, anyway.” He didn’t, but he needed to make sure his surrender was on his own terms. Megan’s arm kept him rooted to the spot, she obviously wanted an explanation on Sally and his - issue? He was actually, going to say ‘mind your own business’ - but he remembered, he was trying to convince her to take the kitten off his hands, so he settled with a simple. “Misunderstanding.”
His hands found his pockets, so he didn’t have to ask for Sally’s coat. Megan, could do that. He was after all here against his will, and if that was the case, he wasn’t going to be pleasant about it.
