"Wait until after you've opened it to say that," Ron cautioned. It really was a last-minute gift, purchased only after he'd remembered her saying something about it, even though he couldn't remember if her opinion had been favourable or not.
He took his present though, opening it, and finding two tickets to a Cannons game, as well as a book on their history. He checked the dates to the game immediately, and then smiled, beaming at Hermione. "These are brilliant, Hermione!" he said. "You're coming with me right? And um, to the game where I got tickets for Harry and whoever he takes, plus us? Those seats aren't nearly this good though!"
For a moment, he forgot that he was supposed to be worried about her gift, or upset about anything else. He was smiling as he flipped through his book, forgetting everything else momentarily. Until he remembered that she still had to unwrap her gift. So he looked back at her, looking rather anxious.
