"Of course," Seth replied, lifting his own glass to clink against hers before he took a sip. "Mmm, that's nice."
"I enjoy your company too." Seth smiled at her, and he was struck again by how beautiful she was. "I have a lot of fun with you at work, but we don't really get enough time to talk properly, and I'd like to get to know you better, instead of simply flirting with you all the time."
Setting his wine glass down on the table, he went over to the oven to get their meals out. Bringing the plates back to the table, he set one down in each place, cautioning her, "Be careful, that plate's quite hot."
The dinner, lemon chicken, looked and smelled delicious. Leaving the oven mitts on the counter, Seth took his seat opposite her and smiled across the table. "I hope you like it."
