Theodore had spent the entirety of his time at Hogwarts observing people. He could read facial expressions with ease, but now, as he looked at Daphne, he felt lost. The only thing he could tell was that there was an uncertainty in her gaze that he'd never seen before. He couldn't tell what she was thinking, but he had her unsettled.
He'd been in this position before, but never with her. He found he had no interest in anymore mind games, no desire to take the opportunity he'd been given and use it to his advantage.
He only wanted one thing, an unfamiliar desire to him, and though he was uncertain as to how she felt, he knew that he would have an answer soon.
Leaning in close, he brought his hand to her chin, tilting it up, before kissing her softly. It was the one thing he had wanted to do since seeing her in the library, lost in the music she had been playing.
