Marietta surprised herself with her own answer, "I'd rather die than live in a world where Hermione Granger and filthy Mudbloods like her can control the lives of true wizards. I can't promise I will never accidentally cause harm, but they will have to kill me. I know that if I betray the cause it means my death, and I would rather die fighting for the cause than as a traitor. I have changed. Before I was forced to sign my loyalty to a cause I didn't believe. This I believe in; this is right." She looked at Theodore, pleadingly. She hoped that this was the end of her interrogation, as now her truth started to take an ugly edge. She was afraid she would say more about herself than she already had. Theodore didn't care what happened at Hogwarts, he only cared that she wouldn't become a liability. She couldn't blame him for that.
"Is that all, Mr. Nott? I'd be glad of the antidote if so."
