Leaning in to kiss her, he could have stayed in that position for much longer, had he not been starving. "How are you? Did you manage to get any sleep after not sleeping last night?" He glanced at her as he set about her kitchen, collecting dishes and glasses, then eying the open bottle of firewhiskey. "Something happen?" he asked, curious as to why it was there.
