"I like that, an adventure into adulthood, it sounds like a quest." She smiled at him. "I can pick out my own paint, and buy all my organic vegan food without my da complaining." She started to get excited for this. "I can do my Underground mural, on a much larger scale than my bedroom." She would ask her brother to help, but still, it was her's. "Oh my goodness yes. I walked in on my sister and her small, yet very hairy French boyfriend once, and I swear I never got over it. Still see all that body hair those half French, half English apologies." Her eyes widened for a moment like she was having a Nam level war flash back and she shook her head. "What is seen can never be unseen." She told him gravely.
Lisa loved her house, loved that it was pale yellow, and she had her own room. But it was her parents' house, and it was time for her to make her own memories.
"Yes, it really strange you know?" She told him. "My neighbourhood is dark, but the neighbourhood I work in is light, so I was almost looking forward to going to work."
