Parvati giggled at George's response. Good, she liked taking her time. She was certainly enjoying herself. She thought back to the last time she had been treated to a nice dinner-Ravi. Ravi was so unlike George. He was snobbish with the staff and always insisted on ordering for her-he didn't even bother to learn what she liked. He also was very possessive and would have criticized her tight, revealing clothing all dinner. Parvati loved that George was comfortable enough with himself not to be jealous, especially as she noticed a few appreciative glances from the sommelier as he poured their next glass of champagne. She only had eyes for one man, and that was the wizard across from her.
"I don't mind taking my time. It's more enjoyable when you go slow and savor it all," she said.
