"No, you're right," Hermione agreed with a nod. "Sitting around and waiting isn't going to do anyone any good. Tensions are already high, with the Death Eaters apparently taking to the journals." Even as she said it, she knew that's all she had been doing, though. Waiting. She supposed her work on the map counted for something, even if she had started it for selfish reasons.
She smiled when he called them both 'non-Auror/Magical Law types'. "It's probably better that we aren't. There's no one for us to report to, which means we're more free to go ahead and do whatever we think is right. Within reason, of course," she added as an afterthought.
"And I think we should," she mentioned, after Oliver spoke of talking to George earlier. "Ginny mentioned getting the D.A. together in her journal last night, but I think it got lost amongst the larger mess she ended up creating. I'd like to talk to everyone, get some ideas on what we might want to do and who's still in." Hermione hoped they were all still in, and now adding to their numbers beginning with Oliver.
"I'm quite sure the majority of us in the D.A. trust you anyway, but it was good of you to want to sign up officially. I think it allows us peace of mind, more than anything."
