George pushed the door open and leaned against the frame. He took a moment to look around the room before stepping in the rest of the way. He avoided this room. It was Ginny's now, right down to the decorations on the walls and a faint floral scent that had something to do with being female, but it hadn't always been. This room was bigger by just a little bit, and Fred had claimed it on grounds of being older. George couldn't see the big deal about four minutes, but he had relented. It wasn't like he was planning on spending much time in his room when there was inventing to do and a business to run. Ah, those were the days.
He moved into the room and leaned back against the wall, arms folded. "Okay, so I'm an idiot. I thought this was common knowledge..." He sighed and slid his hands into his pockets. "I should have said something before now, but I wasn't sure how..." He sucked at this serious stuff. Wasn't there something funny he could say instead? Probably better not, come to think of it, Ginny was likely to explode if he tried.
