The end of Parvati's scarf suddenly looked very interesting as Ginny's yells filled the sitting room. Parvati felt really guilty; she had hoped that George had mentioned something about her to his sister, but given her reaction it was clear that this was the first she knew of it. In some ways, it actually made Parvati a little miffed, though she thought Ginny was being a bit unfair. They hadn't been doing anything wrong (then at least).
"So, I take it you haven't told Ginny anything then. George...I know you didn't expect us any more than I did, but she has a bit of a point. Why didn't you say anything?" she asked, no whinge present, but with a trace of hurt. She couldn't shake the feeling that he just wasn't as attached to her as she was to him. She looked down the hall at the slammed door. "You should probably go talk to her."
