Words of Affirmation: I wasn't really sure what Evan's main love language would be, but upon reflection, it's probably not surprising that he got Words of Affirmation. The Golden Baby Boy of the McKenna clan, he's very used to hearing words of encouragement and praise from his parents. Hearing that he's done a good job doesn't just appeal to his ego; it makes him feel worthy. Of course, it's important to also note the source of these "affirmative" words. The ribbing and teasing amongst his siblings is just as important to him as receiving accolades.(Score: 9)
Quality Time: As a tech junkie, Evan knows just how easy it is to lose oneself in projects and games and the sheer amount of info and entertainment that are so easily accessible 24/7. So again, it's not a total surprise that he really appreciates having someone's attention focused on him instead of their phone. Being present in the moment and doing things with the people he loves is an important part to forming a lasting relationship for him. If he feels dismissed or ignored, or finds you easy to ignore in favor of work or play, it's not the best sign for the relationship. (Score: 8)
Acts of Service & Physical Touch (Tie): Given his penchant for dating around, I kind of expected Evan to score higher in Physical Touch, at the very least. However, I suppose that isn't actually something that fully translates as "love" to him. While he is more than happy to help others out through acts of service, it's not as important to him to receive them. This is because Evan really enjoys losing himself in deadlines and responsibilities. He performs well under pressure. Likewise, while he very much enjoys physical affection, and it is a mandatory element of his relationships, he's not a physically clingy person.(Score: 5)
Receiving Gifts: Evan likes gifts. Who doesn't like gifts? He likes knowing that someone special saw something and thought of him and then had to give it to him. But he doesn't expect it. It's nice if it happens, but if it doesn't happen, it's okay too!(Score: 3)
