Hadley
1. Acts of Service - Hadley is a very service-oriented person who spends a lot of time and energy helping other people and trying to be there for those around her. It makes sense that in a partner, she'd notice and feel the most loved when someone else was serving her and trying to take some of that pressure off of her. When her romantic interest does those things, it really makes Hadley feel like she has a -partner-.(Score: 12)
2. Physical Touch - Hadley is not a very physical person in general, but it's not because she doesn't like to be touched or that she doesn't like to touch other people, it's because physical touch is extremely special and significant to her. She is not the kind of girl who would touch someone that she only -kind of- liked. Likewise, one of the quickest and easiest ways to show Hadley your romantic interest in a way that she will really understand you're definitely romantically interested is to Kiss the Girl. (Score: 8)
3. Quality Time - Hadley believes that quality time is important to an extent, but she's also very low maintenance and could probably handle a long distance relationship better than the average girl. As long as he does take some time for her and is giving her enough physical affection and showing his thoughtfulness and love to her in other ways, she would do quite well married to a very busy, career-driven man that she mostly only saw in the evenings. (Score: 4)
4. Receiving Gifts and Words of Affirmation (Tie)- I really expected Gifts to rank higher than quality time, but it makes sense, because while Hadley appreciates gifts, they're also something that Hadley could do without entirely as long as you were speaking the other three languages to her. Words of affirmation is similar. Words of affirmation and gifts are significant to Hadley, but because she grew up in a home where she received very little affirmation and a lot of negative talk instead and the gifts she received weren't thoughtful and were often mean-spirited instead, Hadley's largely written these two off more than the others. If she had a significant other who was very into them, she'd learn to understand these languages better, but at this point she's more likely to misinterpret or doubt the gesture, or be a little too slow on the uptake. Ironically, these are the top 2 or 3 languages that Hadley speaks to show others she loves them. Hadley is all about giving gifts and kind words. She just struggles with receiving them. (Score: 3)
