Characters: (Anti) Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric Terrain: Across from the Post office, where a section of Central popped up. Rating: Pg for Edward swearing? Summary: Reunion and confusion
Today had started out alright, he'd talked with Armstrong before boarding the train to his current assignment. He had to admit, the offer was tempting but he'd become used to being part of Roy's staff. But all of that paled in comparison to hearing his brother again. Al was alive and well. He wondered if he was dozing on the train and would wake up the moment he saw his little brother again. He ran quickly, his blonde hair slapping against his back as he skidded around the corner.
This city was a strange place, he kept seeing things that shouldn't be there. The section of Central was one that had been undergoing construction, he passed it on his way to work everyday. Edward slowed as he got closer, taking it all in with his eyes. He put what Armstrong and Roy had taught him to use. You had to look first, picking out what was wrong with your eyes before you asked any questions. There was no one to ask, so he had to do a sweep next.
"Nothing is ever simple, eh Mustang?" He shook his head and paused at the border, his fingers running over the brick that edged the strangeness. "Why is it doing this?"
