It didn’t take very long for the Dusk to return from being sent through the portal. The scrawny white creature looked intact too. Roxas let his arms drop back to his sides, spirit lifting a little. If they were still able to use the portals, then they would defiantly be able to make it to the town in time. And they wouldn’t have to walk for the rest of the day – he just wished he would have thought of sending a Dusk sooner.
Roxas nodded as Axel walked over to the portal and spoke, “Okay.” He watched as the red head stepped into the darkness, before glancing at the Dusk, who was still standing there. “You can go back.” He told it, before following after Axel in a hurried pace.
He stepped quickly through the other side of the portal, only to ram rather solidly into the other Nobody’s back. The vortex shut behind him and Roxas dropped backwards, landing soundly on his rear. Pushing himself up a little, XIII muttered indignantly, “You shouldn’t stand in front of the portals like that!” He had expected for Axel to have moved out of the way...
