Hiya, my name's Lulu. I'll be playing Virginia Maxwell from Wild ARMS Advanced 3rd. It's a pretty amazing game for the PS2, but by no means, my favourite in the series.
Any info you need about me/my character can be found in the profile or via the guide.
Oh, and I'm over eighteen, so please don't feel uncomfortable with smut, swearing, or violence with me. Not that Virginia would be involved in these things, of course. Possibly smut, but... erm. That might be a while, especially if you aren't from her universe. |D
AND I HAVE TO ASK THIS. HAY. IS ANYONE HERE A CLAMP FAN? Fyi, I play the following: Subaru (TRC, TB, and X; I prefer X version), Fye D. Fluorite, Lan (Clover), Ashura (RG Veda and TRC; the younger, prettier one), Kazahaya (Lawful Drug), Kakei (LD), and um. I could probably be coaxed into several others. I also play Cloud (preference is Zack/Cloud) and Rufus (lol Turks/Rufus), as well as Jade Curtiss and Serph Sheffield and AI!Serph (not the volleyball one lulz).
...yeah, I'm just saying you could easily convince me to play these characters. |D |

I don't know if it's doing it for everyone, but when you try joining up for the main community, you might end up getting an "LJ error" (I was kinda amused by it myself) on the same page where it generally has the "notice was sent to blahblahblah, wait for an approval".... Just ignore it, the message does seem to still go through.
I dunno if it was always like that, or it's because the site is just acting really wanko right now.
and yes, I am just looking for an excuse to use this icon, because I don't really know how often it'll show up in canon XD |

Okay, before I get too ahead of myself now....
1) First of all.. should ALL RP logs, from now on, be posted on the main community, or remain in their respected journal? I'm starting to think this is a really bad idea now since newer characters are easier to go unnoticed, and that's bad D:(originally, I had it like that because I wanted to keep the comm nice and organized >.>;).
I think I might start a new rule where only private logs, as in only between meant for 2 or 3 people(or more), can be posted inside journals. Along with "lazy/1st person" RPs
2) Finally(although kinda stupid to ask). Should there be more "cause and effect" events, like the breif genderswap one, or should all of them be the usual ones that you either sign up for or everyone has to take part? Because I'm fine with either, although the later one is easier to do. The only good thing about the other idea is that they kind of give the event a logical excuse. Not like it's generally needed or made sense to begin with |

Whew... got a lot of stuff done this weekend~ some of it involving here.
- Revamped members list, and got rid of a lot of people (Again, if you ARE still here and I dropped you by accident, lemme know as soon as possible and I'll re-add you). Eventually I do want to add all of the contact things there too, but I still haven't found a decent way of doing it yet.
- New simpler(and smaller) banner for info.. because I been getting complaints that the last one was too big, and I was getting sick of looking at it anyway
- Minorly redid other parts of info so it matached better with new changes (the allowment of OCs and all AUs)
- TOTALLY redid rules section, kinda of mixing the style I did for this RP along with the style I did for Spectral. Nonetheless I think it looks a bit nicer
Stuff I still need to do:
- Edit the add/removes so it's more up to date (that I'm going to do right now)
So yeah, gonna go bring life now~ D: |

I think I'm going to have to start dropping inactive characters soon. If you don't respond any time soon, or make any sort of movement, you're head might make it to the chopping block. Granted you could still come back, and won't have to re-apply or anything.
I think after that I'm going to start pimping again, unless somebody wants to beat me to it I won't mind that, you know
Also I been having thoughts on events. I want to have another one really soon, but was thinking: Should there be more "cause and effect" ones(as in you have to achieve at something first in order for it to happen), or ones that effect anyone and everyone(or you just have to simply sign up for, depending on what the event is)? |

The requests/wanted page has been slightly revamped. As it only features canon IC characters now. As well as a new added feature: "Limbo characters"
Basically, it's a list of current characters in the game right now, that members are willing to give up should another member might want someday. How it'll then work is if that character is re-applied for, the mods AND the current mun(unless they happen to be a mod too) will look it over and decide if the new member is okay enough to take over. It'll also be totally up to the new and former mun if they should completely start the character over or continue where it last left off.
Hoping this will make it easier and faster to "past the torch" along, and I know from exprience that people with multiple characters always have at least one of two they barely use either because of sudden lack of interest or character was giving them problems. And they know someone could do a better job, but don't want to just let them go with the possiblity that it might be forever until they're applied for and used again anyway.

... STILL having internet problems. I really don't know how much longer it's going to be like this.. But it's really pissing me off because kills the rest of my day(or night)... -.-
Anyway, until it stablizes again, or I get a new provider, I won't be updating any of the mod-related posts just yet(the rules and info, mainly). But the changes are officail now.
- Original Characters are accepted now, including fandom based ones. However they need to have more detail in them than a canon one when applying, and reasonable strengths/weaknesses (and nothing else that might make them a Sue/Stu character )
- You can now be any kind of alternate universe character. However at this time there can only be up to 3 of them (making a total of 4 different types for each character). A canon version at a different time in it's life(child or adult, depending on their age within the series they show up in) would count as an AU. Series with drastic anime/manga differences, like Fullmetal, the first version applied for will be "canon". For example, if someone applies for manga!Ed, and there's no anime one yet, the manga!Ed will be "canon" and the anime!Ed(if someone plays as him) will be AU.
- Eclipse will still remain anime, manga, and video game(with some exceptions) only, with the acception of OCs being nearly anything they like. |

Yeah, it's been awhile.. And for all I know my "free time" could be getting cut back in the near future too.. D:
Also it's very likely I'm going to start allowing multiple AUs of characters now(might have the max be like 3 or so), AND OCs too. Because I've realised that the original idea of Eclipse has changed drasticaly(going from trying to be a specific RP, into a free-based one), and those restrictions just seem really... silly now.

Minion and I have realised ago that many of the threads are going to need more time to finish(actually today was the final day). Original idea was to give another week, however since now most of them are getting kind of close now I might instead change it to the 20th(Wednesday), although the goal was to hopefully have an equal amount of characters doing both events. However I plan on doing a real genderswitch later anyway, and I been bunnied awhile ago for an even specialer thing to happen at the this said city.. =3 *needs to harrass minion more for thoughts on it* D:
.. And yes, I was totally right about my internet, it IS trying to sabotage me by crapping out durring most of the day x_x... I don't know how long it's going to keep doing this either... -.- |

Guess whooooo~ =D;; *was ALMOST going to drop her, but then remembered why I wanted to play her in the first place~* X3;;
... As I kind of told most people (just another heads up then?). My internet connection is being spaztic, or at least has been for the last couple days. Judging by the fact it seemed like it stopped now, I can't be totally sure if everything's okay now.... or it's just trying to put me in a false sense of sercurity and then shut off for the rest of the week x_x

So... most people probably know by now, but the second part of the introduction event is up and ready. I just wanna add a couple more things to it, hopefully minion doesn't mind~
Characters who have already did the first part are required to at least start off where they left off. Although it's up to you if they stay in that group or want to totally ditch it... Assuming that you do or don't wanna be genderswitched XD (there's a little something different planned for those that make it =3).
Anyone just joining right now will have just to jump into the second event, and hopefully find a "group" willing to take them in (or maybe unwilling, depending.. XD;; ). Sadly, this means that the first thread is now completely 'dead'. Which kind of wrecks my original idea of trying to keep it as the official introduction thread. But I like this new idea even more.
So, hopefully this will at least round everyone(or most of them?) into a smaller area, even though it's still kind of a lameish way of doing it XD... And character journals might have a use soon, finally XD |

Fiiiiiinally got the add/remove code back up to date, again. Didn't think there was gonna be such an influx of new people so soon~ XD;

I would've done this sooner, if I didn't slip into an emo funk recently (I dunno, it's really weird..)
FINALLY have a few typos fixed.... *sighz* -.-. Also I'm just gonna call people who play as the normal versions of characters "canons" for now on. I don't even know why I wasn't doing that sooner, especially when "originals" can sometimes be mistaken for OCs instead. *shrug* More proof that Grif occasionally has bad thinking skills. Or Grif needs to stop thinking about ten or more other things all at the same time o_o;, *thinks it's usually just that* .__.;;
Got a few haitus-ers, but looks like we also have a few fresh meats too (and maybe more =3). I hope things will go much faster when the first "event" at least gets to a point where everyone is a little more independant.. Or something. D:
