I'm looking for a game where I can play a character involved in a romantic storyline (but I still want to interact with other characters of course.) I would prefer a comic or mythology/supernatural based game. It would be FANTASTIC to play a character who shouldn't be in love with the person s/he is in love with (ie: vampire/vampire hunter, god/human, etc...yay angst.) I prefer playing women, but I can suck it up and play a guy if needed (granted, he might not be very manly.)

Shelby, California, nestled at the foot of the San Bernadino mountain range, was once a widely populous town. Countless people migrated to the place in 1850 as a result of the Gold Rush fever spreading throughout the state.
By 1855, Shelby was a ghost town. Houses and buildings alike had been abandoned, ransacked, and some even burned to the ground. Its residents had fled, fearing the wrath of the vindictive Dooger Brothers’ Gang, and for nine years it remained that way. Deserted.
September 1864. Travelers came back to the town and laid claim on the land. They rebuilt, restocked, created new lives for themselves. Faith was restored in these people, this land. But one thing the new residents never counted on was the return of the hostiles. The bandits. Two rival groups of outlaws, both claiming the town was rightfully theirs to steal from. Both groups periodically threatened New Shelby’s growing economy.
The year is 1867. The place is the fictional former ghost town of New Shelby, California. Law men, bandits, cowboys, and Native Americans abound. A childhood game of “Cowboys and Indians” has come back anew.
The game has been open and active since May 1, 2008.

It has been 21 years since Batman first appeared in Gotham.
17 years since he had a run in with Catwoman, an elegant and seductive criminal that turned out to be the love of his (and Bruce Wayne's) life. So much so that she gave up her life of crime to fight along side him (and be Bruce's wife).
And 11 years since he disappeared.
Following a long and gruesome war with the Joker (one the claimed the lives of not only many civilians but Catwoman as well), Bruce Wayne hung up his cape and cowl. With Selina gone, he was now the only person their six year old daughter had and he would not see her orphaned the way he had been. Let the Gotham Police handle the criminals. He was done. From that day forward he would concentrate on being Bruce Wayne -- Father, Philanthropist, and CEO of Wayne Enterprises.
The Joker escaped, off to lick his wounds in Metropolis or whatever city he choose to wreck havoc on next, but the police did manage to get their hands on Harley Quinn. Sent back to Arkham, she remained there for almost ten years before being declared legally sane and rehabilitated.
Now she's back on the streets, supposedly a new person. But then...why is she rounding up some of the Joker's old henchmen. Turns out she is about to declare her own war on the Bat...one that she hopes will bring him out of hiding. Because, you see, she wants to string him up as a welcome home present for her Mr. J who she knows will be coming home anyday.
The only problem with her plan is Huntress, Gotham's newest caped crusader. For the past six months she has been working to foil Harley's schemes. Who is she? What's her connection to Batman? And is she really the savior everyone thinks she is?
The battle for Gotham is about to begin.

My hope is that by combining all these elements with a unique plot and placing them in a grittier, less stylized world that it will give the players a new freedom with which to explore their favorite characters.

Lotti needs friends, relatives and confidants. She's got a cousin she came to stay with in Hershey before she got her own place. Richard is his name, and his wife's is Anna... and they have two small kids. It'd be fun to have them in the game. She's got a relatively open family tree (here) if anyone wants to pick up any of her family members. My aim is lotti carmine 83 if you wanna chat/plot/play.

Hidden amongst the pain, happiness and struggle of life there are the supernatural creatures. Vampires, shapeshifters and witches, all genetically different to humans, but like humans they have their own strengths and weaknesses. They are also more powerful... so why do they not rule the world? Fear, and ignorance mostly. Humans are a complex species, often scared of what they cannot understand and these species are beyond their understanding. Most humans have no idea what exists alongside them, plodding along happily in their lives and linking strange events to something rational. There are some humans who do not share the belief that they are alone on the earth. Some of these humans work alongside the supernatural species, while others hunt them, believing them to be truly evil.
That is the normal life of a supernatural creature; hiding amongst the humans, keeping their mysterious powers to themselves and hoping not to attract the unwanted attention of a hunter. Well, that's the normal life of some of them anyway. There are of course those that hunt the hunters, looking to reclaim their freedom, or perhaps to save their family and friends. Then there are the supernatural creatures who simply don't care about the humans, seeing them as a source of food and pleasure.
This is exactly how things have worked in the City of Cork, Ireland, for hundreds of years. Humans and hunters have come and gone as the vampires watched on. The Covens and Clans of the witches and shapeshifters have continued, changing as time passed. A vampire by the name of Finn Moriarty joined them in the last decade, making a few waves in their community as he set up his criminal empire. Many of the supernatural community eventually accepted him and his business, begrudgingly, and he too became a part of normality.
But now something new has come to Cork, intent of upsetting the apple cart for good. The shapeshifters of Cork have never seen eye to eye, with the foxes, owls and wildcats having always been natural enemies. The sister of the owl's Clan Leader has been attacked by a fox, resulting in her becoming a fox shapeshifter. As the owls look to the fox Clan for an explaination, no one is aware of the rogue foxes that have entered Cork, using the shapeshifters existing conflict to thin out the ranks of the existing fox clan ready for them to take over.
