As it is known to mankind now when death grips a lifeform they perish and are sent into the earth where they will reincarnate into something beautiful and provide the world with the always looping circles of life and death. But, what if those always interlocking circles were bent and broken apart leaving the Valley of the Light forever separated from the Land of the Dead never to continue on the chain reactions of life, death and reincarnation. However this does leave the question: Where does one go when they die if these linked circles are torn apart? A question that has a solution only known to those who have passed on to see their new land.
Enter the Netherworld.
A sub-world once connected to the state of the living, the Netherworld is an area with many realms all connected to each other by strange portals. Although the Netherworld in itself is mostly a neutral land, there are certain realms that seem to be more of a threat than the others. It is true that to be in this world one must be dead and therefore shouldn't have the need for fear of any things that could be even remotely ominous - but with death comes fear and with fear comes pain. Dead one might be, food you may not need but even in the Netherworld blood and pain are as real as the living.
There are four different realms joined together in the Netherworld, each one with their own creatures native to its grounds - it is up to those in the realms to decided for themselves which creatures are friend and which are foe. Judge not by their looks entirely for such things can be deceiving. Shelter can be found if you look hard enough in areas such as caves, and holes. They can even be built if one is creative enough to try. Food and drink are not necessities in the Netherworld as there is no hunger to be felt. There is only one large difference between the living and the dead carried into the Netherworld - the dead have no hearts. The similarities are as simple as if one is cut they will bleed and feel pain. Cold and warm tempuratures have effects on the dead although it is minor. Injuries sustained in death are carried over into the Netherworld as permanent scars.
There is but one rule to the land that allows you to pass through realms so freely: the dead cannot visit the land of the living under any circumstances. The living may, however, visit the dead. Perhaps - if one is lucky enough to be called by the living for a meeting, that is.

Located just four miles out of Napa, California, The Sutton Academy has become the place for the rich (and sometimes famous) to send their children. Boys and girls come from all over the country (and in a few cases, the world), to receive a first rate education. At least, that's what the brochures say. The truth is, The Sutton Academy has become more of a 24-7 babysitter for rich kids rather than a school. Twenty-two years ago, Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. Subsequently, their father John raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America... and he taught them how to kill it.
Sam, however, wanted nothing to do with this violent and dangerous life, and he left it behind until the day Dean appeared on his doorstep with troubling news. Their father had gone missing on a ``hunting trip.``
Sam and Dean have spent the last year cruising the highways of the United States in their 1967 Chevy Impala, searching for their lost father. Along the way, they battled various supernatural threats, and each other as well, for their sibling rivalries and conflicts were never far from the surface. Finally, they found their father, just as he was closing in on the demon who claimed their mother. After a climactic confrontation, the demon escaped, leaving the three Winchester men in dire shape.
So the Winchesters' mission continues. They travel the country, encountering creatures that most people believe exists only in folklore, superstition and nightmares -- vampires, spirits, revenants, reapers, even bloody clowns.
Wherever they go, the brothers continue their search for the demon that destroyed their family. During their last confrontation, the demon said he had plans for ``Sam and all the children like him.``
With Sam having died in a twisted game to find ``the one`` to lead an army from Hell, and Dean sacrificing his life with only a year to live. Now Sam must also decipher what this means and uncover the dark secrets buried within his own past and within his family's history, and to save his brother before his soul is doomed to rest in Hell alongside their father.
With the Devil's Gate having been opened: what will happen throughout their journey?
This is where fans unite to tell that tale of the Winchester Brothers that were never shared with the world.

Path Not Taken (pathnottaken) is a role playing game based on the CW's Supernatural.
Picking up near the end of Season One, this game takes place in an alternate universe where there are not two Winchester siblings, but three. On May 2, 1983, Mary Winchester gave birth to two children -- fraternal twins, Sam and Abigail. And it was over both their cribs that Mary found the Yellow-Eyed Demon lurking six months later.
A mix of light-heartedness and drama, this game seeks to answer the question of what would life be like if there had been another Winchester -- especially a female one. Would John have been softer on her than he was on the boys or would he have pushed her harder? Would she have followed Sam into normalcy? Would he have shared his visions with her? And what would happen if the Yellow-Eyed Demon had more than one soldier to gain from that family?

aflashofgreen... I'm looking for Rodolphus, Regulus, other Death Eaters... anyone else who'd like to play with me. My Bella isn't quite as crazy as she is seen in the Trio Era. She's a proper young woman, dressed to the nines and carrying the heavy burden that is being pureblooded and on the right side of things. We've already got a Rabastan, but we could use a Rodolphus or any other Death Eaters Bella could interact with. Other girls would be good, too. Rita Skeeter?
