A flurry of footfalls and one very heavy thump answered Alfred's summons. Del had been mildly surprised, but mostly it was the cape draped over her head that had made her run smack into a display case near the entrance. She had managed to dress herself in a funny-looking green and red and yellow costume she'd found by the wall, but unfortunately, she'd done it backwards. The boots didn't fit her feet well so she hadn't bothered with them.
Thus she tromped barefooted and blindfolded towards the voice, compelled by the unmistakable weight of authority and decorum that she'd only ever heard her gloomy older brother's most trusted servant Lucien use with her.
