Who: Edward and vamp!e What: Going to get her Where: Gotham; Enigma's room When: After escaping from the hotel in Boston Rating: High (knowing them :))
Edward had fled the scene where he had been previously. He hadnt gotten to kill Matt outright, but he would get another chance. Matt would never see him coming (or hear him) and Eddie was alright with that. It would only be a matter of time until the hero would die, daughters and Bruce or not. He was determined to see the hero bled dry. Whatever it was between him and Matt could've been resolved with simple human interaction, but Matt was blind and Eddie was a vampire. There was nothing normal about that. Like a snake, Edward would lie in wait for the next opportunity to strike and when he did there would be no stopping. That had been his error, ceasing to finish his task. He should've bled the man dry and then bragged about it. Ah well. Things happen.
Edward had jumped into his car and sped away from Boston, headed for Gotham. He was determined to get to Enigma before the ship left. But if it left without them then so be it. She was much more important. He had a good idea they could make it back but Eddie wasn't leaving without her so it was worth the risk.
When he reached the city limits of Gotham, the city that held so many fond memories, Edward took care not to get on the Bats radar and drove to the address Enigma had given him when they'd spoken last. He pulled up, parked and got out of his car, heading to the door of the hotel. He pushed his way through the lobby, took the elevator to her floor and found himself staring at her door. He still smelled like blood and was almost covered in it but it was dark and hard to see because of his dark clothes. He wasn't going to wait. He had waited enough time.
With the lift of a foot, Edward kicked the door as hard as he could, smashing the wood as of it were a liquid instead of a solid. Nothing was keeping him from her. He pushed away the wooden splinters, and marched through the door, looking around.
