"Damn, I was hoping for one," Damien said under his breath, mock disappointment. He sighed as he heard the protests. Seems he would need to prove himself. "Then don't trust him.. trust me. I promise you, I will be fine. Almost like this." And at that, he punched the hallways wall. Hard. He felt a bruise on his knuckles. Then he placed Enigma's hand over his fist. "There, feel that.." He could feel it. The callous bruise fixed itself, skin becoming smooth once more, nothing broken. "See? All better."
He couldn't help but smirk as the vampire attempted to figure him out, to determine exactly what he was. Ohh, he liked the mystery. "Yeah, definitely something else. Something unique. Note a were, though there is canine in my family. My mum. As to my father.. well, let's just say he's otherworldly for now. But perhaps a drink might help you get closer to the answers." Or he would tell him in private. He wasn't yet certain. He did feel that if he fessed up honestly right now, Enigma could freak out since the situation was already setting everyone on edge.
