“Get your feet off the table this instant!” E yelled at her son, slamming the door of the oven behind her.
Lucien made a face but got his feet off the surface, returning to peeling the potatoes by essentially floating them in mid hair and using a beam of light as a laser to carefully get the peel off. Matt shook his head at his brother/cousin's antics, grabbing the peeled potatoes and adding them to the pot, taking out the finished ones and returning to the table to mash them.
Effie finished straining the pumpkin flesh, humming as she she danced around, taking the cooked pumpkin to her older sister to be mashed into pumpkin mush, before returning to check on the green beans.
“Alright, cranberry jellies,” muttered as she tried to maneuver her way though the mass of people. She set it down on the table, taking a seat herself, smiling at her son gave up on the potatoes for a bit to rub her shoulders. “Mm, thank you Matty.”
E finished spicing the pumpkin, loading it into the pie shells before tossing them into the second oven, humming to herself, before realizing she was doing it and giving Effie a dirty look for starting it, rolling her eyes at Effie's innocent face, throwing a clam shell at the girl who giggled.
“Oy, no wasting clams!” Enigma said, frowning at them. “Mama raised you two better then that.
“They were empty!” E protested, pouting at Enigma's look, waiting until the woman turned her back before sticking out her tongue at her.

E put the finishing touches on the turkey, before moving back to Matt could lift it for her, smiling at her nephew as she followed him out of the kitchen, offering the carving knife to the eldest at the table, taking a seat next to her husband and children, smiling at Lucien, brushing a finger over his cheek, catching a bit of gravy from his cheek. “I told you not to get into it early,” she teased.
Lucien, swatted her hand away, laughing before waiting for the turkey to be carved, eager to dive into the food that had been passing in front of his face all day. Across the table, Matt was making flirty faces at Sammy, slowly trying to steal some of the pumpkin pie, only to have his hand slapped by his mother.
“Effie, say grace?” Enigma said with a smile, ignoring E's groan as she covered Lucien's ears.
Effie smiled, standing and taking Enigma's hand, bowing her head. “We thank you for the turkey,
The gravy and the dressing. Dear Lord, this table overflows, with Thy abundant blessing.
Let us always be aware that all gifts come from You, and may we serve Your heavenly will in everything we do. Amen.”
E made a face as she uncovered her son's ear, gently rubbing them before grinning. “Let's eat already!”
