Complicated relationships were something that occurred with Sam, too. He had slept with a werewolf who tried killing him on more then once occasion. The other women he had to leave with a kiss and travel off with his brother. It was a becoming a pattern. He never thought he would have another safe, and consistent relationship again. Sam wasn't like his brother, he actually didn't enjoy loving them and leaving them. But growing up with his father he had known having a relationship was risky.
Sam's mother was a shining example of that - though he was beginning to think that was more his fault, then his father's.
Buffy's comment on grandma's made him laugh, and give that trademark smile. "It's hard to resist their apple pies." He couldn't help but be entranced by the way the sunlight beamed down, lighting Buffy's hair to a more golden blonde, and her skin seemed flawless and glowing. She had been beautiful. So, beautiful, he could understand why the living dead would rather love her then kill her. Every detail about her was something to cherish. He couldn't imagine a world without her, which almost sadden him when he thought of her deal.
His smile faded, but only for a minute when Buffy splashed a bottle of water in his face. He pushed up his bottom lip, merely nodding and remaining perfectly still. Then he snapped to catch her, but in a split second she had abandoned her sandals and was sprinting across the lawn. "You're going to regret that," he shouted over to her.
At some point, Sam was on his feet and racing across the lawn.
He almost had Buffy where he wanted her, which he knew she must of been holding back, because if this was a dead on race he was certain enhanced speed would of pawned him in the end. Unlike most human men, he actually enjoyed a woman he was tougher then him. He didn't have to worry about hurting her in games like these. Sam tackled the blonde to the ground, using his fingers to interlace with hers, and pin her hand above her head. "You know, usually when I'm wrestling with Dean, he would hock a loogie in my face," he grinned. "I'm wondering if I should do the same to you." He leaned forward and instead of spitting in her face, he kissed her lips softly. He could imagine by now they had an audience of people staring at them. Sam even heard a group of kid yell "eeewww" when they saw them kiss.
