She seemed to push it off and act as if she was not bothered by the question but Spike could see through her. He knew that little game as he had the same before. The way she just pushed the question away saying she wouldn't answer it. "Why not?" The words dragged out in a low voice as he looked at her with piecing eyes. "Too ashamed to say why?" He raised a brow as he continued to look at her and study her expressions.
"Mean really, think that was fair for me to open all up to you and not get anythin' in return? Deserve more then that." He huffed. She wasn't going to get away so easily with that. "Mean out of all people Angel!!!" He said the last part with more then just a bit of annoyance in his voice. The sound of saying that name fueled him with fire. "Or should I say Angelus. Mean really what is it with him? Suppose you just like cocky blokes then." Spike sighed as he leaned back against the brick wall. He never did see what was so great about the other vampire.
"Know it helps when you let it out. I already feel better." He gave her a fake smile. He then reached down in the pockets of his jacket and pulled out a pack of smokes along with a lighter. He opened up the pack and slide a cigarette out; the vampire then held the pack out to Justice to offer her one. If Spike would've seen this coming the last time he saw her he wouldn't have believed it. How could he now he standing here with her and offering her a smoke. How could he be doing anything with her that didn't involve trying to kill her. He could only imagine how mad Buffy would be if she found out. Then again did he really care? Should he even care? What did he even matter to the bloody slayer anymore? Nothing - so why even care..Though maybe that's what he wanted. Maybe he wanted to make her mad, it would be a hell of a lot better then her acting like he wasn't even here anymore.
