Spike was surprised to see the tear make its way down Justice's face. She was a demon after all and really shouldn't be acting like this. Then again so was Spike, though he had a soul now, but he acted like that even before the soul. Maybe the two of them had more in common then what they thought.
Spike was a bit speechless and just continued to watch her for a moment. Part of him wanted to comfort her but there was no way he could do that...could he?
"Here we go again with the riddles and rhymes." Something that reminded him too much of Drusilla. "Don't you ever get tired talkin' like that?" He asked. But then he felt her hand upon his check. Something that should've made him jump back soon as it touched but he reminded there. It somehow felt right to feel her touch. Then she broke free. Her words seemed to dangle in his head as he thought over them.
"I know." He sighed and took his drink. "Least I could admit to it though. I got out of that little illusion long before you did. Trust me.." He didn't like this, didn't like thinking about her or her and him. Maybe this was good though to share feelings with someone who was going through the same thing. Even when him and Angel would talk about Buffy and missing her it was more of a competition and well Angel never really was in the same place as Spike so they couldn't truly talk about it. Justice seemed to understand to an extent, they were going through the same only her's was much newer.
"Just cause I got the bad end doesn't mean I can't give advice. I see people you know. Study them and see what's really going on. Always have just told it how it was." He could remember that one time when he told Buffy and Angel that they were still in love with each other so long ago. He was depressed that Dru left and came back to Sunnydale to do a spell and ended up working with Buffy and Angel, of course that was only because he had Willow hostage. Even back then he saw it, the two of them trying to deny it.
