Can't escape you............. Who: Spike and Justice What: Spike goes to club and runs into Justice When: At night Where: At a club Locked To: Justice Status: complete
Spike got out of town for awhile, more then just a little while to. After his encounter with Justice he knew it was time to leave. It would never matter what he did it would only ever matter what Angel or Angelus did to Buffy so why even stay? Which he did stay for awhile, just sulked to himself and didn’t go out much but still he hoped the Slayer would’ve paid him a little visit or something. But there was nothing, there was no visit or anything. He felt as if he didn’t even exist in her little world. Which was fine, he needed to move on. Even though he told himself that long before but he never really did move on. He thought he did for awhile after Angel and him went to Rome and decided that they needed to leave Buffy alone. But even then he wasn’t being completely truthful to himself. He just couldn’t fully move on, there was always something there drawing him to her. Maybe it was because she changed him and made him a better person, or maybe it was just because he hasn’t found anyone better. Not that he really needs anyone…or so he tells himself. Really though deep down Spike still was a fool for love and only truly felt alive when he was in love with someone. That was the way he worked, that was the way he always worked and everyone around him saw that at different times. Even the Judge saw that once long ago when he was with Drusilla. The first real love of his life. Well, he did love Cecily but she wouldn’t have anything to do with him, Dru was the first one that would have something to do with him.
So Spike left Ohio, barely left Ohio to tell the truth. The bleached blonde vampire kept going from town to town until he reached the boarder of Ohio and Indiana. It was strange soon as he started to cross over the boarder it was as if something happened to him, almost like Buffy had some sort of hold over him. He just couldn’t do it. He felt like he needed to turn around and head back to her and them. Maybe though it wasn’t her he needed to head back to or someone else? He knew of the danger surrounding them and sooner or later another apocalypse would come, so what better then to be on the front line. That was why he was going back, to help save the world once more. It had nothing to do with Buffy and even if it did he wouldn’t tell anyone that. He was over her this time and he’d prove it to himself by going back and seeing her. The other slayers and good guys weren’t so bad and they needed help as well not just Buffy.
Soon as Spike reached Cleveland once more he went back to his crypt. Everything was still the same even though he’d been gone for some time. Part of him had some hope that things would’ve been moved around a bit, evidence that someone came looking for him, but no that didn’t happen. No one came looking for him at all which only made him want to leave Cleveland once again.
Not wanting to stay in his crypt anymore Spike left. He threw on his black leather duster and ascended into the night. At first he wasn’t sure of where he was going or what he was going to do but after walking a bit he knew. He was going to head over to the one dance club he visited a lot. Not because he wanted to dance or anything but because they had some of the best drinks that the bars out there offered and he needed himself a good drink or two or even more.
Once the vampire with a soul got into the club he headed straight for the bar. He had to push his way through a nice size coward of people as this also happened to be one of the more happening clubs in Cleveland. He couldn’t believe all those warms bodies dancing up against each other like that in this club so clueless to the real danger that was out there. There were monsters out there waiting to devour all those pathetic humans yet they would never know, not until it was too late of course.
As soon as Spike got to the bar he ordered himself a shot of vodka. The bartender was fast at getting it to Spike and without hesitation the vampire drank the shot down in one gulp. Spike slammed the shot glass on the counter and waived to the bartender for another. Just then as the bartender moved out of the way her face came into sight. Sitting across from Spike at the bar was Justice, the demon that caused all the trouble for Buffy with Angelus. He couldn’t believe his luck, out of all places she had to be here.
“Great.” Spike mumbled to himself as he looked at her. He was going to quickly get up and leave but then she noticed him too. “Just what I needed.” He sighed. This was not good, not good at all and Spike could only imagine where this would lead.
