Alison easily returned the hug. She didn't mind if Lux needed to cry- she would have held her. "I'm glad you remember me," she replied, not realizing how emotional that would make her. She looked down to her hands, cheeks flushing. "Oh, it's- you needn't worry about me- they're healing up. I had a bit of- well, a fit, I suppose. Last week- you should see the shop, though, I repainted and rearranged and there's a new display in the front window?"
She shrugged, taking a seat on the sofa. "I also finished several orders and the like, and then I slept for several days in a row. Benedict is only just returning to work today, though I told him that he didn't have to babysit me."
