Jim + Meggan
She wished she could explain it all to Jim, but she wasn't quite sure how. His suggestion did have her eyes going wide though, which might have been telling enough. "Jim. They're... they're the X-men. They're legendary where we're from." There was no team of mutants more well-known, for the good guys, than the X-Men. Meggan could only dream of being that good, that important.
"I heard a song that talks about that. I can't remember what it said but I spent so much time in my room the last few days I figured out how youtube worked and well, it went from there. The song says most girls about a hundred times." But it did include lyrics about celebrating life, and Meggan thought that was a pretty great thing to celebrate right about now.
The song was still upbeat, and Meggan moved herself back so she could let go of one hand, using the other to twirl Jim around, and then when he was facing her, she twirled herself around. Dancing was fun, and the atmosphere was fun. "I think someone's drunk. I feel silly."
