Zemo did look sympathetic over the fact that Addie kept losing employees. Losing anyone in a place like this - be it friend or coworker - was rarely a pleasant thing. "I'm sorry to hear that. If you ever see yourself in need of some company, you're free to come by the club. I'll give you a drink on the house."
Not that drinking was ever the proper way to deal with sorrow. But having someone willing to lend an ear did.
