Jim + Meggan
"We're often on a mission, so it's usually only in our down time that we have time for any kind of real socialization back home," He explained as they swayed together, an easy sort of dancing that was less about the music and more just about being close to someone and talking while music happened around you. "But we'd make time for a party every now and then," in much the same way as they did here, after big events, to remind themselves they were still alive, and still able to go on to the next big thing.
But here they were, celebrating every few weeks here, but then maybe that said more about this place than any of them for needing the reassurances that came with letting loose and just forgetting where they were for a little while with people they could trust.
"There are worse reasons for a party I suppose," He reasoned, grinning. "I think it's probably a good thing that we can still find reasons for it." When they stopped feeling like they wanted to have parties like this it was probably time to start worrying.
