Clint had been in something of a slump back home himself -- between real projects and teams and probably getting a little too into things that didn't actually matter for his own good.
This place had kind of reset his priorities a bit, and he was grateful for that. Taking a step back really hadn't hurt.
And now he liked it. And Matt.
