"Maybe you do," John said with a bemused smile. He wasn't about to gate-keep music, or list off obscure British punk rock from the 70's and 80's just because it was his own favorite niche. Either way, shouting into a microphone didn't seem like Jim's scene.
He swallowed back his shot, tapped the little glass twice on the bar top. "Cheers to that," he said, because it was bloody awful all on it's own, but it was a good kick in the ass. "Mate, did you just look at me and think -- singable punk?"
