Riley & Meggan
As soon as Meggan knew he was on his way, she was on the lookout for him. Not physically, but emotionally. Riley, along with a very few select others in this town, Meggan was now able to pick up on the... flavor of their emotions, as it were. The signature of them, and even through the crowd and the walls she could feel that hunger, attuned to it, aware of it at every moment when he was near, as he approached.
The ping of her phone was barely necessary, but it assured her that he was close and it was only moments after he'd sent the text that she'd find her way outside, bouncing over to him.
She was learning, okay? So she didn't throw her arms around him just yet, she waited until she could tell his hunger wasn't going to win out and then she hugged him, giving him a tight squeeze. "I'm so glad you came!" She said, before letting go and taking hold of his hand. Her own, gloved, made it so that he couldn't so easily feel her excitement. With how many other people's emotions running through her, it would have been overwhelming.
"I know you know that I know what you're feeling right now so, you know, I promised you I wouldn't let anything bad happen. I think you're going to be fine, you are much better at controlling your thirst than you think you are, you know." She said, squeezing his hand before all but dragging him towards the door. "But if you want help, just ask."
