Nancy/Ken(tw: gun violence)
Ken wasn't so petty about these things. He'd heard it all. He was here to protect Nancy and her friends and he was going to stick with that promise. "Light? It's not the best, but stand back. I can get us some light that will work in these shadows." It would be a shame to ruin the suit, but Ken knew his kagune would give the room a soft red glow. It didn't take long. Within a few moments, long red tendril like arms came out from Ken's back. Four of them. And they glowed a soft red light, illuminating the room just a little. He stood beside her in his full ghoul form, one eye also glowing red and he turned slowly to face Nancy. "This is me," he stated, softly, "as a ghoul. My kagune can give off a little light."
His eyes shifted to whwre she covered her wound. Nancy was strong. She didn't need his help with that, but he could smell the blood from it. She'd be fine and would heal eventually. "These should fight against these shadows. Be careful. They can cut through flesh. I'll stop them from hurting anyone here." His tone was resolute, determined.
