Whatever Sabrina had been about to say was cut off as something grabbed hold of her around the waist and flung her into the bookshelves. She tried to soften the blow, to teleport to somewhere else in the room, but the threads of magic that she usually tugged on refused to answer.
It'd be nice if Dunwich could give her a playbook of when it decided she couldn't access her magic and when she could.
Her back ached as she collapsed onto the ground and rolled, trying to dodge the books falling down onto her. "Something really irritating," she coughed out, wiping blood from her mouth, body aching even as it started healing.
