No, Klaus isn't running. Not when the apology had that effect. He lets the ghost scream at him and then he tries a gentler approach.
"I'm sorry," he says again, but this time he's not shouting. "Maybe I can help... What's your name?"
She blinks at him, and suddenly the rage drains from her, and she's no longer a fearsome, vengeful spirit but a scared, sad girl, staring at him with bloody tears in her eyes. Only now can Klaus really hear what's happening off the stage, but he keeps his focus trained on her as she answers, "Carrie."
"Hi Carrie, I'm Klaus," he offers. "Are you having a bad night?"
