"Oh clubs can be super wild. I can't believe you've never been to one! Dunwich probably doesn't even have a good one. If we can ever get out past the line I'll take you." It was a totally empty promise because there was no way that was happening, and from how she understood it, they did not go back together. Still, Alexis absolutely would take her if she could.
Alexis wasn't one to really like animals. She liked them as other people's pets, and she understood why other people loved them so much. Even at this point, she had started to like them more than she had, but she was not a pet person. Particularly with dogs. "It totally could be, yeah. I'm not exactly like, a hands-on animal sort of person but I really liked helping the people when they were worried about their pets." She was great distraction, and unexpectedly good at handling bad news and finding the silver lining to the situation.
State parks and Wildlife were two things she wasn't particularly knowledgable about, as she wasn't the most outdoorsy sort of person unless it involved following a hot guy through the forest or something, but she could see Abigail's fondness of the position and she smiled. "MMmhmm wow, that is so great for you! That does sound like, really important and helpful. You feel like, safe in those woods? No scary bugs or anything?"
