He chuckled softly, "She's way too cool for me anyway," He grinned, teasing Meggan a bit over her amusement and the smile on her face. And well Jim didn't like to make a habit of getting too close to the people he worked alongside, it was just a recipe for complications that would be difficult on deep space exploration missions.
"You're right," He agreed, Jim felt the same too if he was being honest, there was never a being he'd encountered that he hadn't wanted to at least try and get to know, it didn't always work out as friendship, but Jim couldn't help his natural curiosity. He wouldn't be well suited for his work if he wasn't.
