She felt her eyebrows inch up toward her hairline when he told her that he owned a book store now and had an apartment to boot. "Well aren't you just moving up in the world." She wasn't exactly surprised, this place had a way of doing the things you least expected, and this certainly seemed to fit into that particular category.
"You moved in yet?" She asked, "Or are you sticking it out at Pickman?" She'd lived there a good long while, it wasn't all bad, and if you were used to living with others it could be downright homey. But Ash didn't strike her as the sort who was looking for that particular vibe.
