"For a little while." Rogue agreed, she wasn't ashamed of it - no matter what role Erik had taken in their lives since she'd joined the X-Men. He'd been a part of the path of her life that had lead her to where she was now and that wasn't something she wanted to erase.
Even knowing that a part of her felt like she needed to explain. "We could touch, his powers - they protected him from mine." That had been a difficult thing to resist after so long of not being able to touch anyone without worrying about what she'd do to them. It hadn't been the only reason that a relationship had formed between them, but it had certainly played a large part.
She sighed, arms crossing over her chest uncertain of where she stood with Remy now - despite his words. It was clear that she'd damaged something between them with the sudden emergence of her past.
"I -" She started and stopped. "It is in the past, you're right." She agreed, "It's not how I'd've liked you ta find out about that part of my past, but ... not much to be done about that now."
