Mags and Gwen
It surprised her that people didn't get in the ocean where she was from. If you had access to it, why would you not go in it? Maybe there was no need... This world seemed to have everything it needed, all in its own. Every place. Kind of like the Capitol. "Do they not know how to swim?" She asked, curious still even if she was coming up with all sorts of reasons they might not in her head already.
Mags was surprised to hear that her home had had 'big events' like the ones she'd heard reported happening in Dunwich. She'd happen to come in right at the beginning of one of these events, with people switching species and whathaveyou. Astarion being just an elf instead of a vampire. Which... she was still reeling from, that those things even existed at all.
"That's a long time to be stuck somewhere you never asked to go." Mags fiddled with the string again, tying another knot without even really thinking about it. She'd been stuck in the arena for a few weeks - and that also threw events at her that were messed up. Dunwich was just another arena, but they weren't being forced to kill each other on top of it. There was no winner. Which helped her, in a way, make sense of this weird fucking world. "How did it work in your world if there was no magic? Why were there always big things happening?"
