When she'd arrived, Rogue had thought that it would be more a matter of waiting this place out, but the longer she was here the more she saw that perhaps this was just where they were going to settle for the time being. And Remy had gotten the deed to a club, and now they were making plans and renovations and all in all - there was potential here for making a life of their own.
It wasn't like the life they'd left, or even the fantasy that she'd had painted for her once upon a time. But it was something. People here didn't seem to mind mutants, she hadn't had to hide what she was as she met new people from different realities. People came and went, some familiar and others entirely new, but she thought they could manage to carve out a bit of happiness here for whatever length of time they might be stuck.
Speaking of that though, Rogue lifted a hand in greeting when she saw Morph approaching Pickman, she'd been lingering out front after she'd made it back that afternoon. "Look what the cat dragged in," She teased lightly, a smile on her face, always glad to see Morph.
