[JILLIAN REED]

Hello, Miss Reed. I hope this doesn't seem untoward or out of place. But I saw your name on the network here as one of the people in charge of organizing this year's Dunhaven Pride, and I wondered if I might ask you a few questions?

My name is Mahira. I was born here in Dunhaven, though I've only more recently returned after some time away. I am [...] interested in attending the Pride event, though I've never felt been done so before, in this or any other city. I'm afraid I don't entirely know what to expect, I suppose, nor how to [...] prepare myself for such an event.

Thank you for your time.

Hello, Mahira! It's not out of place at all. I love that you reached out, and I'm happy to help answer as many questions as I can.

First of all, I'm so happy you're going to be joining us, and I hope it ends up being a happy experience for you. By bringing the celebration to Dunhaven, we were hoping to be able to include people who might never have gone, so this makes me so happy.

Do you have some specific questions? Or would you like more of a general overview of events and what to expect?

I suppose more of a general overview and what to expect, to start, if that's alright?

Absolutely! We're going to start with a parade that will go through all the main streets in town. That will eventually end downtown where we're going to have a large street party. There will be food and drink stalls set up, and we have a stage where a few speakers will talk. After that the DJ will take over for dancing!

We want to create a loving, inclusive atmosphere, while that also entourages learning and growth. You can wear every day clothes or get dressed up. Participate, or just enjoy the festivities as a spectator.
