I feel like I blinked and suddenly I was already 6 months into this pregnancy and only a few short months away from meeting our son. I'm just going to focus on that instead of all of the other things we need to get done between now and then to be ready for the baby.

For the record, he's sitting somewhere between an eggplant and acorn squash and I am never eating vegetables again. (Okay, that's a lie, but it's weird now.)

At least it's easy to avoid eggplant and acorn squash. 🤮

But I like eggplant and acorn squash.

That does present a problem, then.

I don't understand the fascination with comparing babies to vegetables, to be honest.

The time has really passed so quickly.

I'm simultaneously impatient and wishing we had more time, ha.

Finding any other comparison would honestly be favorable, but I guess vegetables and fruits are often a universally understood sizing chart?

I can't believe how fast this is all going by.

But are they organic, non-GMO produce? Because that would greatly affect the size of it, just saying.

He'll be here before we know it. Are we ready?

I'm going to guess that they're run-of-the-mill what you could find in your local produce section, not the farmer's market. So, probably not.

Hell yeah, we're ready. I mean, in a few months when he's fully ready, we're set.
