WHO: Jade Reed and Finn Solomon WHEN: Backdated; evening of October 27 WHERE: Rowena's Halloween party SUMMARY: Chatting among friends! This is a placeholder and will be updated when we finish. WARNINGS: Underage drinking?
Finn wasn't sure how he and Charlie kept ending up making out, but he wasn't going to complain about it anytime soon. (And, if he were to be totally honest, he did know how it kept happening, but he still wasn't going to start complaining.) He wasn't sure how much time he had spent in an abandoned part of the Hyland's house, but when he eventually made his way back out to the main rooms of the party, there was definitely a grin on his face. He also definitely didn't realize that the paint that Jade had meticulously applied to said face was smudged and not looking nearly as good as it had before he'd disappeared with Charlie.
When Jade caught his eye, Finn meandered over toward her, a drink of something in his hand. He wasn't sure what it was, other than that it tasted like juice and probably had alcohol in it. He picked up a few gummy worms as he passed the table filled with candy, popping one in his mouth right away.
Stopping next to Jade, he nodded and asked, "Having fun?"
Jade's eyes took him in with some scrutiny. Her skin was painted purple everywhere that was visible: her face, her arms, her legs, her back and chest… She'd made Finn help with the areas she couldn’t reach, and he was reluctant but did as asked, considering she’d made him into an awesome Superman. Her body and face were outlined in the same Pop Art style he was, with cartoonish details of rotted flesh and exposed insides into a comically grotesque zombie, complete with “blood”-spattered white pin up dress. The video of their transformations would go live on Halloween and she was looking forward to it. She was certain it would be one of her most popular yet.
But his painstakingly-applied makeup was smudged, nearly ruined all around his mouth and… in a few spots on his neck? Jade put two and two together without needing a degree in rocket science and raised one judgemental eyebrow at him. “Not as much as you, I bet,” she accused, her purple arms crossed across her chest. Kevin, her boyfriend, was off somewhere, getting her some real food, but she plucked a gummy worm out of Finn’s hand and popped it in her mouth before crossing her arms again.
